IoT networks pose many security challenges due to the transfer and storage of a large amount of data and the need for a long battery life of the end devices. Cyberattacks on IoT devices are growing daily and detecting them and limiting their consequences is key to consumer trust in IoT-based solutions, and hence their wider application in various business solutions. This article presents an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of approaches to increasing security in IoT networks based on blockchain technologies, artificial intelligence and cryptographic security methods.
